Revives Old Technique to Launch New Pulse Network
Atlanta, Georgia, December 1, 2006. – BMI &
Associates, LLC, an Atlanta-based public affairs firm,
announced today that they will launch their new Pulse
Network in Columbus, Georgia to support the American Heart
Association’s heart disease prevention Cultural Initiative
in the African American community. As part of the
initiative, BMI will conduct focus groups in five Georgia
cities. The Pulse Network will be used to distribute large
amounts of information through trusted members of the
community.
The key to executing the Network is the use of
face-to-face communications. Using this method to drive
the Network, BMI has broadened their base and generated
teams of new network members.
“In today’s world of real time information delivered in
various electronic mediums, many people are more apt to
connect emotionally with the old fashioned face-to-face
communications approach,” says Beverly Iseghohi, President
of BMI & Associates. “We’re excited about the Network
because it can initiate the beginnings of lasting
relationships with key members of the community.”
Based on the outcome of BMI’s Network initiative, the
Heart Association will rollout its next heart disease
prevention program in the spring of 2007.
